## Two Seven Two – What are these Three Numbers About?

Two Seven Two – What are these Three Numbers About? They provide a numerical key to lost prehistoric antiquity. Clues of the past have many forms and fashions. Numbers are one of them. A primarily defined number is megalithic yard. It was 2.72 feet. Professor Alexander Thom of Oxford University established this accepted measure. For background on the subject, study writings of the John Michell. His books have been my companions for over fifty years. Now they are mostly out of print and difficult to acquire.

## Megalithic Measure Survives in Unexpected Ways

Megalithic Measurement in Malta comes from a simple number square. It is a straight read of numbers.

## Megalithic Measure Survives in Unexpected Ways

### How Megalithic Measure Comes From the Traditional Arrangement of the 3 x 3 Number Square

• A megalithic inch is 0.816 inches. That is a straight read across the bottom- left to right, on the 3 x 3 number square pictured to the right. If you reverse these numbers you have 618.  These are the square root numbers of the Golden Section. This was called “phi” by the ancient Greeks- 1.618…. The square root is o.618 feet.
• A megalithic yard contains forty megalithic inches. Here’s the arithmetic: 40 x 0.816 = 32.64 inches. Next, 32.64″/12″ = 2.72 feet –  or 1 MY. Next:
• Add the 8 perimeter numbers.  You have 8 + 1 + 6 + 7 + 2 + 9 + 4 + 3 = 40.  It is no co-incidence  that there are 40 megalithic inches in the megalithic yard.
• In summary: Three primary ancient numbers come from the perimeter: (1) The megalithic inch as 816 comes from the bottom three perimeter numbers- left to right. (2) Phi’s square root numbers are from the same bottom perimeter but reversed as  right to left (618). (3) The number of megalithic inches in the megalithic yard as 40 from the entire perimeter.

This blog is the tip of the iceberg. Keep reading the posts on DSOworks for more information on the subject as well as on music. It will be forthcoming.

## Force Field Interaction the Ancient Way

Force Field Interaction the Ancient Way. Here I’m merely extending the logic behind a prehistoric reasoning tool: The traditional 3 x 3 number square. The ancient Chinese call it the “Lo shu.” It is the grid of numbers pictured above. Please note: This is merely my own theoretical abstraction and application of these four forces. There are several other solutions to this puzzle: Arrange the numbers 1 to 9 so that any row of 3 totals 15.  However, the featured picture shows the traditional arrangement. Many of the blogs on DSOworks.com are about number squares.  They explain how basic squares of numbers could have been the backbone of a former advanced civilizations.

## Numerical Reality Involves Number Square of Saturn i.e. 3 x 3

### Force Field Interaction Explained

On force field interaction this merely speculative theory proposes:

1. Four fundamental forces occur as polarities.
2. These 4 forces form a basic web- The 3 x 3 number is the seed of the grid of all number squares. Above is the traditional historical arrangement.
3. Each square on the grid has its own unique force field.
4. The nature of the force field depends on the forces that cross it.
5. All even numbers, set in corners, only invoke two force fields.
6. Odd numbers are surrounded by three force fields.
7. The central five is the only number encased by all four force fields. This makes it the epitome of balance.
8. Each of the numbers of the grid therefore evokes a combination of forces. Evens have 2 force fields. Odds have three. Five alone is the special number. It is surrounded by all four force fields.

Number squares and their grids were thought to be the basis of civilization. The base of the Great Pyramid of Egypt also uses the 8 x 8 grid. Each side has a length of 8 great cubits. Each great cubit =  of 55 smaller cubits: 8 x 55 =440 cubits. The intended cubit is 1.71818…feet. Rev. John Michell amply covers the subject. His books are well worth reading.

John Frederick Carden Michell (9 February 1933 – 24 April 2009) was an English author and esotericist.   He was a prominent figure in the Earth mysteries movement. Over the course of his life, he published over forty books. These are on an array of different subjects.  He was a proponent of the Traditionalist school of esoteric thought.

## Remen Measure was Known by Moses

Remen Measure was Known by Moses. According to the Hebrew Bible, he was adopted by an Egyptian princess.  Later in life became the leader of the Israelites and lawgiver.  He is generally credited with the authorship of the Torah, or acquisition of the Torah. His position in Egypt gave him access to knowledge possessed by  the higher echelons of royalty. He knew source of the remen, in at least two different mathematical ways, is the 3 x 3 number square.

### Canon of measures Archives – DSO Works

dsoworks.com/tag/canon-of-measures/

1.2165 feet = 1 remen
1.2165 feet x √2 = 1.72 feet – one royal cubit
1.2165 feet x √3 = 2.107 feet- one Palestinian cubit
1.2165 feet x  √4 = 2.43 feet – one Roman pace
1.2165 feet x  √5 = 2.72 feet – one megalithic yard etc., up to

### Here is the 1st approach to the Remen measure:

• Add the numbers around the central 5 (I term these numbers p1 which stands for perimeter one). The eight numbers total 40.
• Then add them two at the time overlapping the numbers. I call this p-2. This stands for perimeter two: 49 + 92 + 27 + 76 + 61 + 18 + 83 + 34 = 440. Now take the number three at the time.
• Add them 3 at the time. Overlap the corners. I call this p-3. This stands for perimeter three:  492 + 276 + 618 +  834 = 2,220. Then (p-1)   is 40 + (P-2)  is 440 + ( P-3) 2,220  = 2700.
• Finally, divide the 2700 total of p1 + p2 + p3 by/ p3(2220): Thus, 40 + 440 + 2220/2220 = 1.2162…virtually one Egyptian remen.

### 2nd Approach to Arriving at the Remen Measure

Add the numbers on the square above three at the time. Do this vertically and horizontally as follows:

• Horizontally: (492 + 618) +  (357 + 753) +  (816 + 294) = 3330.
• Vertically: (438 + 672) +  (951 + 159) + (438 + 672) = 3330.

Next, total the single numbers, 1 to 9,  in the number square:

• 1 + 2 + 3+ 4+ 5+ 6+ 7+8 + 9 = 45.
•  Take the sum of the vertical and horizontal totals given above: 3330 + 3330  = 6660, Then divide 6660 by  the 45 total. The quotient is 148.  The square root of 148 is exactly the numbers of 10 Egyptian remens by number= 12.165…

For the 2nd way, 148  is the key number. So, how does this tie into Moses? In Hebrew Passover is spelled פסח. The 1st letter (pei)  is the glyph for  80. The 2nd (sameck) is the glyph for  60. The third (chet) represents 8. Thus, 80 + 60 + 8 = 148. Passover and the remen measure are thus tied together.

How did I learn to work the mathematical  intricacies  of the 3 x 3 number square? From an American Indian spirit on Oquaga Lake. She was of the Lennie Lenape tribe. On walks in the Oquaga Lake area, the spirit communicated ancient secrets to me. The tribe once lived around the lake. I was the house piano player at Scott’s Oquaga Lake House.

## Pairing Contrasting Numbers -Five with Six.

Pairing Contrasting Numbers -Five with Six.  I’ve blogged about fives and sixes. One of my internal links is given below. The theme was five is yin.  Six represents yang. In ancient measurement they were used  together.  Many ancient, universal measurements can be recreated with these numbers. The 5 petaled  rose was always thought of as yin. The six petaled lily was the yang counterpart. If you learn how to read numbers, surprising conclusions can be reached. One, for example, is  the existence of a pre-Genesis citadel in Mexico. It is connected to the ancient word, “emesh“. That words implies existence before Genesis (see below), Roses and lilies have strong symbolism. They partake of pairing contrasting numbers. John Michell offers a great introduction to 5’s and 6’s his book, City of Revelation. Since his publication, I’ve discovered how other measures of antiquity use five and six. A list is offered below.

• Five represents the strong petals of the rose. It has 13 weaker petals.
• Six represents the petals of a lily.

### Pairing Contrasting Numbers of Five and Six in Prehistoric Times

• Five has historically been the number of humanity. It is the core number of the ratio called “phi”. [1] It favors ratios of life including those found throughout the human frame.
• Six was associated with inanimate nature, like the snowflake:
• Five was thought of as the footprint of the pentagon.
• Six was the symbol of the hexagon
• Thus. five was considered yin. Six was thought of as yang.
1. 6/5 = 1.2  This approximates Egyptian remen which is 1.2165… feet .
2. 6 x 5/6 + 5 = 2.727272…A megalithic yard is 2.72 feet.
3. 6 x 6 x 6/5 x 5 x 5 = 1.728. The larger Egyptian cubit is 1.728 feet.
4. 6²/5² – 1.44. One hundred and forty four is a Fibonacci number.
5. 6 x 6 x 6 x 6 / 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 = 2.0736. Approximates the Palestinian cubit of 2.107 feet.
6.  (6 to the 6th power)  / (5 to the sixth power) = 2.979…This is close to the three feet of the English yard.
7. Very important for Central America and the Mexican Pyramid of the Sun: The key unit of measure was the “hunab.” (See Peter Tompkins Mysteries of the Mexican Pyramids). The hunab is 3.41 feet. Again, the invaluable fives and sixes: (5 x 5 x 5) + (6 x 6 x 6) = 341. I took this information from my previous blog called “Measure Proves a Pre-Genesis Citadel in Mexico.”
8.  341 refers to world before Genesis. Here’s how: The name of the pre-creation God was Emesh  אֶ֣מֶשׁ: “Laban said unto Jacob: The God of your fathers, Emesh, said to me…” In Hebrew “Emesh” literally means “yesternight.” Reference Genesis (31:29). Letters doubled as numbers in middle eastern languages. There were no separate numbers apart from letters. Below  are the letters in Hebrew with their representative numbers of emesh.

אֶ֣מֶשׁ – Alef = 1; Mem = 40; shin = 300. Total is 341.  אֶ֣מֶשׁ- Also, the three Hebrew letters of  Emesh  are the the “mother” of all the Hebrew letters.

## Inspiration Versus Uncontrolled Imagination as per the Ancients

Inspiration Versus Uncontrolled Imagination as per the Ancients. Lost civilizations assigned numbers to concepts.  Inspiration and Imagination were once defined by number 1080. Author John Michell has written voluminously on this subject. His take expresses Einstein’s thoughts.  However, his take is in terms of an Earth Spirit that encircles world.

### Einstein’s Take on the Subject

“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited. Whereas, imagination encircles the world.”
Albert Einstein As quoted in “What Life Means to Einstein: An Interview by George Sylvester Viereck“. The Saturday Evening Post (26 October 1929) q:Albert_Einstein

For many it can be extremely difficult to distinguish between between the state of being inspired and uncontrolled imagination.  I will relate it to an article in the New York Times. It is front page in the Arts & Leisure section. Date is Sunday June 10, 2018. Suffice it to say, aspiring can draw from imagination.

### Inspiration Can Have Controlled and Uncontrolled Aspects

The New York Times article is entitled “Home is Where the Horror Is.” It talks about how in cinema today stating: Horror has never been more bankable and celebrated than it is now. Michell, in his City of Revelation, discusses the difference between being inspired and wild imagination. Basically, the number 1080 applies to both. Michell has an entire chapter on this number. He writes about how: “The mystic’s vision and the the lunatics nightmare derive from the same source.” Most important, he writes, “the individual alone is responsible for the different forms they assume.”

### So What Causes the Lunatic’s Nightmare?

When 1080 takes on the lunatics nightmare aspect, there is a cause. It is usually a reaction against excessive  power and brute force being used  to solve problems. Tone down the brute force, and the lunatic’s nightmares will also lessen. This internal link below explains a little more about number 1080.

## Translating Geometry to Words and Numbers

Translating Geometry to Words and Numbers. My advance scout for a number of my blogs about antiquity has been the Reverend John Michell. I was introduced to his writings in 1970.  It was The View Over Atlantis. The key is a subject that few have even heard of: “Gematria.” Hear is Wikipedia’s take on the subject. It offers some background for this blog.

Gematria /ɡəˈmtriə/ (Hebrewגמטריא‬ גימטריא‬, plural גמטראות‬ or גמטריאות‬, gematriot)[1] originated as an Assyro-Babylonian-Greek system of alphanumeric code or cipher.  Later adopted into Jewish culture.  It assigns numerical value to a word.  Names or phrases with identical numerical values  bear some relation to the number. This may apply to Nature, a person’s age, or even the calendar year.

Similar systems, many inspired by Hebrew gematria, have been used in other languages.  These include i.e. Greek isopsephy and Arabic abjad numerals.

An example of Hebrew gematria is the word chai  (life). It has two letters. They add up to 18. This has made 18 a “lucky number” among the Jewish people. Gifts of money in multiples of 18 are traditional for this reason.[2]

### Translating Geometry of the Dodecahedron

In Hebrew gematria the noun for “Israel” translates to 541. A regular pentagon has 5 vertexes of 108° each vertex. That totals 540°. The additional “1” in Israel  (541) יִשְׂרָאֵל represents the the core of Israel-  One God. Here is the process:

• Each of the 12 tribes belong to Israel (541).
• They each receive their own pentagon on the dodecahedron. This figure is one of the 5 Platonic solids.
• There are the only 5 possible regular polyhedrons that can be constructed. All corners of these five must be tangent to a sphere’s surface. A sixth cannot be constructed.

Keep in mind: At one time many nations had 12 tribe cultures. Jewish tradition has kept it alive. Again, I refer to the Reverend John Michell. This time the book is the 12 Tribe Nations. Link is below. My contribution is illustrating Israel’s parallel to the dodecahedron. Also, below is my internal link of how our musical system relates to this same dodecahedron.

## Numerical Meaning by Delving into Words

Numerical Meaning by Delving into Words. Today, numbers are adjectives. They define the quantity of a noun. Here are some simple examples: She has one cat. He has three birds. Our neighbor has two trees in the front yard. In the remote past, numbers represented both qualities and quantities. Furthermore, in China a numerical tradition of the Lo Shu survives. It is described below. Are numbers quantities or are they a lot more?  That depends on you civilization.

21st century man prefers numbers as adjectives.  One side works with music and math. The other deals with words. Currently, most become quite uncomfortable in trying  to see numbers as nouns. There are exceptions. Musicians give numbers more meaning. Some examples are working with  the 8 bar phrase. The 32 bar period had its own meaning. . Another is animation by 3/4 or by 2/4 time. The prime number square  is the 3 x 3. It is the featured picture. Genesis is all about secret codes of this number square. So is the Chinese Lo Shu. Likewise, Greek mythology used this square of numbers. I must ask, who is more primitive? Someone who understands and works with all its hidden codes, or those who are ignorant of them?

### 1st sentence of Genesis Archives – DSO Works

Lo Shu Square (simplified Chinese洛书traditional Chinese洛書pinyinluò shū; also written 雒書; literally: Luo (River) Book/Scroll), or the Nine Halls Diagram (simplified Chinese九宫图traditional Chinese九宮圖pinyinjiǔ gōng tú), is the unique normal magic square of order three. Lo Shu is part of the legacy of the most ancient Chinese mathematical and divinatory (Yi Jing 易經) traditions, and is an important emblem in Feng Shui (風水).   Feng Shui is the art of geomancy concerned with the placement of objects in relation to the flow of qi (氣) “natural energy”.

### Delving into Numerical Meaning

When placed in balanced mathematical relationships, numbers are more than adjectives. Such is the case with the featured picture.  Please read the internal link (1st sentence of Genesis) before continuing. Now let’s do the following. The sum of the numbers 1 to 9 totals 45. Next 45² = 2025. In many ancient languages, letters doubled as numbers. There was no brain split between the two sides and two disciplines.  This was called gematria. Information is available online. Also, on this website I quote the Reverend John Michell. He and Robin Heath amply cover gematria in their works.

For our last thought for numerical meaning in this blog, take 2025. Again, this is 45².

• In Greek add the gematria of 3 gods:  Zeus = 612. Apollo = 1060. Hermes = 353. 612 + 1060 + 353 = 2025.
• Gematria of words were often pyramided. Other DSOworks.com  blogs deal with this topic. The four pyramided letters for “Torah” in Hebrew is 2023. Tav = 400,Tav + vav = 406. Tav + vav + reisch = 606. The full Hebrew word as tav, vav, reisch,  and hei = 611. Thus. 400 + 406 + 606 + 611 + 2 = 2025.  There  are 2 additional commandments added to the 611 by tradition.  With the + 2 we have: 2023 + 2 = 2025.  Again, this is 45².

There once was a golden age. Its guiding vision was the featured number square. This time of milk and honey can now be regained by the knowledge of how this basic number square functions..

## Ten Eighty Musings Point to a Lost Prehistoric Culture

Ten Eighty Musings Point to a Lost Prehistoric Culture. To begin, I must quote Issac Newton.  Sir Isaac Newton Sir Isaac Newton (January 41643 – March 31 1727 .  He was an English physicistmathematicianastronomeralchemistinventortheologian and natural philosopher. He is most famous for discovering the Laws of Gravity.  Newton built on thoughts of bygone philosophers. These included Plato and Aristotle.  British author, John Michell, is the philosopher on which I have built upon. His works seem to be largely out of print. But I think they are worth the expense of acquiring.

Amicus Plato — amicus Aristoteles — magis amica veritas
• Plato is my friend — Aristotle is my friend — but my greatest friend is truth.

### So What Are Ten Eighty Musings?

First, to define 1080. Numbers, in the lost past, had associations. 1080 was lunar and terrestrial. The establish four elements were earth, air fir and water. 1080 was water. It expressed the Moon’s influence on the cycles of nature. With the psyche, it represents intuition. Ten eighty guides the unconscious mind.

So where does 1080 figure into today’s theme? First, let’s look at the ancient attitude to “zero”. It wasn’t a real number. It was synthetic. Ten was a combination of two opposite numbers on the 3 x 3 number square. Therefore, past civilizations could read 1080 as 18. They had the option of reading it as 108.

## Megalithic Yard Links Tie Into Number Squares

Megalithic Yard Links Tie Into Number Squares. Before reading this post, here is a key concept. The 2.72 foot megalithic yard confirms prehistoric knowledge of the exponential factor of growth. Reverend John Michell writes in his The View Over Atlantis: “The ratio 2.72 is an approximation of  the incommensurable figure “e”, the variant by which a logarithmic spiral is set out and a factor in the development of natural growth.” Here is a second important concept: The megalithic yard is also expressed as a fraction: 30/11. That translates to 2.7272727…The difference between 2.72 feet and 2.727272…feet allows for a slight variation in its length. This was common ancient practice.

1. Was there an advanced civilization in the past?
2. Was their IQ beyond our current day comprehension, even with our advanced technology?
3. Finally, why was the megalithic yard hidden by code in the two prominent names for God? – In the Torah these names were Yahweh and Elohim. Please read the quote from  two previous blogs for background.

### HOW NUMBERS AND LETTERS SHARE A UNITY IN HEBREW

• Ancient Hebrew has no separate number system. A letter and a number shared the same symbol. Contrarily, in English we have letters of the alphabet. We also have digits.
• Every word in Hebrew had a numerical equivalent. Thus, the Hebrew letters for Elohim total 86. The Hebrew letters for Yahweh total 26.
• Letters in words were often pyramided to obscure meanings: The the four letter name of God is an example that in pyramided style became: (1st tier) Yud = 10;  (2nd tier) yud + hei = 15;  (3rd tier) yud + hei + vav = 21;  (4th tier) yud + hei + vav + hei.  The four tiers total 72.

In the same manner, Elohim, when spelled with pyramided letters totals 200:  (aleph = 1); (aleph & lamed = 31); (aleph + lamed + hei =36); (Aleph + lamed + hei + yud = 46); the full name is (aleph+lamed + hei + yud + mem = 86). Add these pyramided values: 1 + 31 + 36 + 46 + 86 = 200. Thus,  the pyramided values of the two primary names of God total 272: 72 + 200 = 272. You can compare these secrets to the Russian Matryoshka doll.

### The Tie in of God With Harmony and Measure and Megalithic Yard Links

In these computations, I allow myself a leeway. It is the difference between the 2.72 foot megalithic yard and the 2.7272727…as a repeated fraction (30÷11 megalithic yard).

• Plato discusses how 272 was the great number of harmony.  Read my previous blog on DSOworks.com entitled Harmony’s Number for the background.
• In measure one megalithic yard = 2.72 feet
• Furthermore, multiply these two pyramided names of God.  The product is the total number of 12 inch feet in the classic megalithic mile. This measure is found all over the ancient world: 72 x 200 = 14,400 numbers the feet in a megalithic mile.

### So What About Megalithic Yard Links and Number Squares?

(1) Start with 50. Any 2 opposite numbers on the 7 x 7 number square of Venus total 50. (2) Multiply 50 x the 2.72 foot megalithic yard. 50 x 2.72 = 136. That totals the sum of all the numbers on the 4 x 4 number square of Jupiter which is 1 -16.  (3)  Next, in order, multiply 136 x 2.72 = 370. The equals the sum of the numbers in the perimeter of the 6 x 6 number square of the Sun. Perimeter is the outermost square with numbers. (4) Multiply 370 X 2.72(7272…) = 1008 (approximate compromise between 2.72 and the fraction given above).

A circumference with diameter 1008 is 3166. In my Sacred Engineer’s Philosophy, I totaled the names of the 12 tribes of Israel. By rules of gematria they total 3166….Finally with the last of the megalithic yard chains or links, 1008 x 2.72 = 2746. All writings refer to this number as the great number of alchemical fusion. It totals the numbers of two key number squares. Mercury totals 2080 (numbers one to 64). The Sun totals numbers 1 to 36 as 666. Thus 2080 of Mercury + the solar 666 = 2746.

Conclusion: Look at the planetary megalithic yard links we just created among the ancient magic squares of Venus, Jupiter, the Sun and Mercury. Why am I blogging about this? Because its knowledge and understanding is necessary to initiate a new Golden Age of Plenty and Peace,

## Universal Egyptian Remen is Found Throughout the Cosmos

Universal Egyptian Remen is Found Throughout the Cosmos. It’s fun to speculate.  Here are my thoughts on the subject:

First, the remen is 1.2165…feet. Measurement around the globe was in fact once based on this remen. Jay Hambidge discovered the remen roots of measure. He called his discovery the Canon of Measures. This was at the turn of the 20th century.  An excellent hard copy explanation is found in  John Michell’s,  City of Revelation. Chapter Ten is called “The Canon of Measures.” Or, look Hambidge’s Canon up on line.

So where did the remen come from? The 3 x 3 number square. It is traditionally arranged below in a manner connected to the planet Saturn.

### The Universal Egyptian Remen Comes From a Formula Involving the 3 x 3 Number Square

Work with your calculator to double check my arithmetic.

• Add the numbers around the central 5 (I term these numbers p1 which stands for perimeter one). 4 + 9 + 2 + 7 + 6 + 1 + 8 + 3 = 40.
• Then add them two at the time overlapping the numbers. (I call this p-2. This stands for perimeter two: 49 + 92 + 27 + 76 + 61 + 18 + 83 + 34 = 440.
•  Now take the numbers three at the time. Overlap the third with the first number. I call this p-3. This stands for perimeter three.  492 + 276 + 618 +  834 = 2,220.Then (p-1)   is 40 + (P-2)  is 440 + ( P-3) 2,220  = 2700. Finally, Divide this 2700 total of p1 + p2 + p3 by/ p3(2220)  or 40 + 440 + 2220/2220 = 1.2162…virtually one Egyptian remen. Very important: A remen = 14.6 inches.  (12 x 1.2165).  The inch is of ancient origin. Cubic inches of gold were standard weights. Samples exist from Greece and Egypt.  They are in the British Museum.

### עוֹלָם- is the Hebrew spelling of the noun “Universe”.

In Hebrew letters doubled as numbers. Take the letters that make “Universe.” Ayin equals 70.  Vav equals 6. Lamed equals 30.  Mem equals 40. Universe in Hebrew totals 146.   70 + 6 + 30 + 40 =146. Those are the numbers of remen by inches. In antiquity numbers were freely multiplied or divided by tens. Ten was a synthetic number.

Conclusion:

1. Number squares hold water anywhere in the cosmos.
2. The first and basic number square is 3 x 3
3. However, the 3 x 3 number square has infinite solutions.
4. The remen comes from it.
5. Planets were connected to number squares in antiquity.
6. The remen is universal. Hebraic “Universe” voices this.
