Sacred Engineers Philosophy- what I learned of antiquity on this lake

Sacred Engineers Philosophy was written on Oquaga Lake

Sacred Engineers Philosophy was written Oquaga Lake. It is located in New York’s Catskill Mountains.  Many people authored books with the background of mountains in New York. Washington Irving was among them. He wrote The Legend of Sleepy HollowWashington Irving (April 3, 1783 – November 28, 1859) was an American short story writer, essayist, biographer, historian, and diplomat of the early 19th century. Irving is best known for his short stories “Rip Van Winkle” (1819). He also wrote “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” (1820).  Both of  appear in his collection, The Sketch Book of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent.

“Sleepy Hollow,” by Will Moses, on view at Sunnyside, Washington Irving’s former home.

The Catskill Mountains of New York  inspired me. They also gave me almost two decades of paychecks. This was as a piano player at Scott’s Oquaga Lake House. New York’s mountains talk to everyone who will listen. A wood carved sign at the hotel initiated my journey.  The sign was positioned over the lobby entrance at Scott’s Hotel. It read: Love is Spoken Here. My journey has so far lasted about 25 years. Several books including, The Oquaga Spirit Speaks, were written by me at this location. It is available thru DSOworks. At any rate, here’s the story:

Sacred Engineers Philosophy Introduction

My life was sent in an unexpected direction in the summer of 1994. The location was in New York’s Catskill Mountains. The resort was Scott’s Oquaga Lake House. I was “the house piano player.” Isn’t this slightly reminiscent of Scott Joplin’s type employment? But, it is not that kind of house. Rather, I accompanied various shows that came to the resort. Also, my wife and I did our own show. Lots of Broadway, of course.

Future Telling as per the Oquaga Spirit – DSO Works

I experienced sudden enlightenment at the resort. It happened in a flash.  In the spirit of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow a voice told me: “Look at the 3 x 3 number square more closely.” Suddenly, the dividing bars disappeared. I began reading the numbers in polarities. The polarities  were also in groupings of two and three opposing numbers. For example 49 + 61 = 110. Or 492 + 618 = 1110.   I then found the numbers behind the measurements of countless ancient structures. Most prominent was the Great Pyramid. See if you can find the number 440 in this manner. Each side of the of Great Pyramid is 440 cubits. I wrote the Sacred Engineers Philosophy as a result. Some countries still tune their musical  instruments  to A 440. If you can’t find it, look up posts on the Great Pyramid on DSOworks.com. You can find the answer.

Binary Code discovered on Oquaga Lake

Open Mind in my Book of Poetry-Oquaga Spirit Speaks

Open Mind in my Book of Poetry-The Oquaga Spirit Speaks. Who or what is the Oquaga Spirit? She is an essence that dwells around Oquaga Lake. I believe the spirit is that of an American Indian. She was of the Lennie Lenape tribe.  Lenape kinship system has matrilineal clans. Children belong to their mother’s clan. From the mother’s clan, children gained social status and identity.

I (David) was the house piano player at Scott’s Oquaga lake House. My employment covered a span of about 25 years.  In the mornings I’d stroll and the spirit would be afloat.  “So much she needed an ear, she ignored my tranquility.” Some years we did not go to the lake. That was primarily when our children were in school. Over the decades the spirit changed her mode of communication. She primarily used two forms of poetry. Also, she instructed me on the hidden codes in number squares. I have been sharing her wisdom through this website.

Benjamin West‘s painting (in 1771) of William Penn‘s 1682 treaty with the Lenape

Rustle, Rustle, Rustle Goes the Wind – Mentions an Open Mind

Quote from the Spirit’s Poem, Rustle, Rustle, Rustle Goes the Wind:

Open the windows of you mind
To let the summer breezes through.
Then the scented summer wind
Will swoosh by to renew you.

  1. In the 1980’s she preferred iambic pentameter in quatrains.
  2. During the 1990’s she spoke in rhyming, triple meter. She also communicated her poetry in quatrains Here’s how quatrains are beneficial: . Quatrains of poetry invoke Jupiterian influences. Jupiter is the thinking-person’s planet. It is the guardian of the abstract mind. This planet rules higher learning. It bestows a yen for exploring ideas. This is both intellectually and spiritually. Number squares were once the guiding light of lost Golden Age. Also of key importance importance was the simplest number square. Ironically, it is also the most complex. It actually hides infinity. Check out my internal link below. You don’t even need an open mind for this blog. The math speaks for itself.

  3. Quatrains, in sets of four, invoke the 4 x 4 number square. Musical phrases also come in sets of 4 bars. They are called antecedent and consequent phrases. This same number square hides the pattern of the Fibonacci series. I believe we will enter a new Golden Age of Peace and Plenty. The wisdom of the American Indians can lead the way.

$7.99       Oquaga Lake is located up the mountain from Deposit, NY in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains just across the border to Pennsylvania. This spring-fed lake is rated one of the cleanest in New York State. At points it’s  over 150 feet deep.  The lake’s diameter is about a mile across. Overall, its outline resembles a bear.

Ireland preserves ancient number square tradition

Ireland Preserves A Jupiterian Number Square Tradition

Ireland Preserves A Jupiterian  Number Square Tradition. This comes with the belief that the 4-leaf clover is lucky. Of course the 3-leafed shamrock is the Irish symbol par excellence. The three leaves represent for faith, hope and love.  If you can find one, a fourth leaf is where where the luck comes from.  This “lucky clover”, is an uncommon variation of the three-leafed clover.  Is rarity is one reason why it is widely considered to be a symbol of good luck.  The traditional Irish symbol of a shamrock does not include the fourth leaf.

The traditional Irish shamrock has only three leaves. A 4th is the lucky one.

Four-Leaf Clover is Lucky- Here’s Why

Ireland Preserves Number Square Tradition

Fourfold orientation comes from the magic square of Jupiter
Four numbers rest at the center of the first odd numbered of the number squares. By tradition it invokes Jupiter.

Look to astrology. Jupiter is associated with the principles of growth, expansion, prosperity, and good fortune. Jupiter governs  travel, wealth, higher education,  religion, and law. Next, look at our 4 x 4 number square.  By ancient tradition, the 4 x 4 square  invokes the influence of Jupiter.

  1. It is the first number square that has four numbers at the center. They are 6,7,10 and 11.
  2. The dimensions of the perimeter are 4 x 4.
  3. This tradition is worldwide.  Even Black Elk of the Sioux Indians quotes its essence. The Indian link also explains how a key number series of the cosmos in hidden this square.

Black Elk of the Sioux

So, the next question becomes: How did I discover such lost traditions? I am a piano player. Many summers were spent on Oquaga Lake. There I worked under the employ of the Scott Family. I made the acquaintance of a spirit. I call her the Oquaga Spirit. I believe this spirit has come to bring joy and happiness to all. Much of this website is about the knowledge this female from the Lennie Lenape tribe imparted. She dictated a book of poetry. Here is an excerpt about today’s theme. You can experience me reciting some of her poetry for free. It is linked to my front page.

Dome philosophy is worth the study

Dome Philosophy as Opposed to Angular Philosophy

Dome Philosophy as Opposed to Angular Philosophy. A dome has curved and fluid lines. One’s environment influences thinking. Therefore, interaction with the dome  makes for fluid, flexible thoughts. For the geodesic dome we are indebted to R.B. Fuller.

Richard Buckminster “Bucky” Fuller (/ˈfʊlər/; July 12, 1895 – July 1, 1983)[1] was an American architectsystems theorist, author, designer, and inventor. He published more than 30 books. In them he coined or popularized terms such as “Spaceship Earth“, ephemeralization, and synergetic. He also developed numerous inventions, mainly architectural designs, and popularized the widely known geodesic dome.

Buckminster Fuller would often ask architects, “How much does your building weigh?” They never knew. He believes that every pound should have a defined and necessary function. Fuller’s domes were triangulated. They had maximum strength for minimum weight.

Dome Philosophy as per the Oquaga Spirit

It is no secret that space-time is a curved continuum.  Thus, the shape of the dome is in keeping with curved space.

Dome philosophy sample of triangulation on Fuller's domes
Maximum strength from minimum weight comes from Fuller’s use of triangulation to construct domes.

I wrote a book of poetry while living around Oquaga Lake. I felt the presence of a spirit there. See picture below. Aptly, I named it the “Oquaga Spirit”. I sensed the spirit was a female from the Lennie Lenape. It is a product on DSOworks.com. You can freely sample me reciting some of the poetry on this inner link. If you are interested, you can also purchase the book.

Dome Philosophy as per the Oquaga Spirit

Dome philosophy is attended to by a spirit on Oquaga Lake.
Beautiful Oquaga Lake, home of the Oquaga Spirit and of lots of fun.

This spirit dictated a poem to me entitled: Like a Ballerina. She used triple meter for almost the entire book. She also talks about how space-time is a curved continuum. This parallels Fuller’s  use of triangles with the dome shape. Orchestral conductors often conduct triple meter in circular fashion. In the poetry book she offers the following admonition and advice. This is excerpted from her poem, “Like a Ballerina”.

“Man likes duple meters.
His triple meters wane.
Return ye to the waltzes of Vienna,
And the vibrant boleros of Spain.

What we have here is the musical wave of both the past and future. As a pianist, I’m sure to play a good share of music in 3/4 time on my jobs.

Dance will return to three four time signature

Three Four Time Signature is Called for by the Oquaga Spirit

Three Four Time Signature Called for by the Oquaga Spirit. There is a hidden place where life is still beautiful. Water is crystal clear. It is drinkable with minimal filtration. A spirit hovers on the lake and surrounding area. I was most fortunate. The spirit took a liking to me. It accompanied me on walks through the woods and over the mountains. As I say in one of my poems, called The Oquaga Spirit: “So much she needed an ear, she ignored my tranquility.”  Who is this spirit? I sensed it was a female from the Lennie Lenape American Indians. At one time their domain was also around the lake. Women ruled the roost. What characterized this spirit?

The Oquaga Spirit even spoke of triple meters.
My wife and myself lived for many summer seasons on Oquaga lake. This cottage is called the “Birches”. We enjoyed the lake view while dining on the back porch.

Triple Meters and Dance
My ballroom dancing CD is available on DSOworks.com

  • First and foremost: It loves music. At 4:30 P.M. a showboat went around the lake. The guests sang with gusto as it circled its perimeters.
  • The spirit loves ballroom dancing. As a matter of fact, it inspired our ballroom dancing CD, Dancing Near You. We had ballroom dance instructors from all over the country offering their thoughts. I wrote down the music. My wife Sharon was the arranger.
  • It loves wisdom and knowledge. Many of the blogs on DSOworks.com were communicated to me by this Indian spirit.
  • The Indian spirit was a great advocate the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” It did not like contrary people.

What the Oquaga Spirit Said About Three Four Time Signature

The spirit dictated my poetry book, The Oquaga Spirit Speaks, in triple time signature. The poem I quote is Nature Loves to Waltz. Its concluding quatrain is:

Man likes duple meters
His triple meters wane.
Return ye to the waltzes of Vienna
And the vibrant boleros of Spain.

So what is my poetic plan? Simply, to tour the world reciting the wisdom of the Oquaga Spirit. Also, I have a few openings for piano lessons in Sarasota. Here is a free poetry sample on youtube. May the spirit be with you!

People berries - how people mature like mountain berries

People Berries are Like Fruit Berries-Oquaga Spirit Speaks

People Berries are Like the Fruit Berries- Oquaga Spirit Speaks. Yes, we have an analogy. Computers are not great in inventing analogies. Poets are. Especially when the poet is an American Indian spirit. This spirit dwells around Oquaga Lake. Now, you must be asking, how does this analogy hold water?  I lived and worked in the Catskill Mountains. The Scott family hired me as their piano player. The resort is called Scott’s Oquaga Lake House. If you think I’m a little off with this thought, first consider this quote by Shakespeare. Then I will offer the analogy

William Shakespeare > Quotes

William Shakespeare

“ Lovers and madmen have such seething brains,
Such shaping fantasies, that apprehend
More than cool reason ever comprehends.
The lunatic, the lover and the poet
Are of imagination all compact:
One sees more devils than vast hell can hold,
That is, the madman: the lover, all as frantic,
Sees Helen’s beauty in a brow of Egypt:
The poet’s eye, in fine frenzy rolling,
Doth glance from heaven to earth, from earth to heaven;
And as imagination bodies forth
The forms of things unknown, the poet’s pen
Turns them to shapes and gives to airy nothing
A local habitation and a name. ”
People berries explained at Scott's
Summer fun at Scott’s Oquaga Lake House

People Berries as per the Oquaga Spirit

Here is the analogy. It is from my book The Oquaga Spirit Speaks. The book contains some 80 poems. It is available as a product on DSOworks.com. The spirit says in this excerpt from “The Smells of Childhood Remembered.”

The berries are the bells of summer.
Wild strawberries in June.
Then raspberries and blueberries.
Blackberries bring the harvest Moon.

Likewise, people who mature early are like the “Wild strawberries in June.” Those who mature in middle age are like the raspberries and blueberries. Those who mature later in life are like the luscious blackberries. Enjoy the wisdom of the Oquaga Spirit! Here is a free reading. I hope to recite this American Indian’s poetry in person  around the world.

Sleep therapy as per the Oquaga Spirit

Sleep Therapy as per the Oquaga Spirit

Sleep Therapy as per the Oquaga Spirit. I have been so fortunate. My family and I spent at least 15 beautiful summers on Oquaga Lake. The entire family got to go with me. I was employed as the house piano player at Scott’s Oquaga Lake House. As a result I have added another profession: That of a working poet. Scott’s is located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains of New York state. There, I met the presence of a spirit. I call it the Oquaga Spirit. “In the mornings I’d stroll and the spirit would be afloat.” The spirit spoke in poetic verse. The verse was mostly in simple quatrains  in triple meter. A square four or angular two has dominated business, music, dance and poetry. Get ready for a soothing new wave of triple meter. As the spirit states: Return ye to the waltzes of Vienna.  Incidentally, I am currently playing the piano at the Sarasota Crab and Fin on St Armand’s Circle.  See events on DSOworks.com.  Come and listen to me outdoors and enjoy beautiful melodies of  Strauss waltzes.

Sleep Therapy Comes with Feeling Good

So What did the Oquaga Spirit Say About Sleep Therapy?

Sleep Therapy as per the Oquaga Spirit
“Lights on porch and dock, and hotel waterside glitter around the shore. Markers do they provide.”

The spirit’s poem is from the “The Morning lake in July”. I sensed the spirit to be a female American Indian from the Lennie Lenope tribe. They, at one time. lived around the lake. Also, be sure to listen to the free youtube video above of me reciting some of this spirit’s wonderful poems.

The morning lake in July
Has no wrinkles or crinkles.
Its flat facade gently flows
Marked only by a few sprinkles.

Just like a youthful lad
Whose skin is smooth and healthy
Without a care and trouble free
As if he were quite wealthy.

But later in the day,
When the winds begin to blow,
And boats are out by the dozens,
It’s then that age will show.

The next morning with the rising Sun,
The lake is once more new.
Just like us, after a good night’s sleep
We dispel the feeling of blue.

Roosters also announce the time of the year

Roosters Offer a Sense of the Seasons

Roosters Offer a Sense of the Seasons. First, some important facts about terminology. Mature male chickens less than one year old are called cockerels. The term “rooster” originates in the United States.[1] The term is widely used throughout North America, as well as Australia and New Zealand.[2] The older terms “cock” or “cockerel”, the latter denoting a young cock, are used in the United Kingdom and Ireland.[3]

The Tastes and Smells of Autumn was dictated to me by the Oquaga Spirit. Our family spent many summers on Oquaga Lake. I was the house piano player at Scott’s Oquaga Lake House.  Also my wife, Sharon,  and I did feature shows. On my time off, I’d stroll around this incredible lake. It has a spirit that liked to communicate to me through poetry. As I say in the book that resulted is called, The Oquaga Spirit Speaks: “So much she needed an ear, she ignored my tranquility.” Oquaga Lake is located in the foothills New York’s Catskill Mountains. It is spring fed that stays cool even in the summer.

This roosters poem is entitled: The Smells of Childhood.  Enjoy life.  And oh yes, may the Oquaga Spirit be with you. The lake was once home to the Lennie Lenope tribe of American Indians. They were a branch of the Algonquins.
It’s half past six in the morning
The roosters start their call;
It used to be four-thirty.
But now it’s closer to Fall.
The blackberries have finally ripened,
From green to red to black.
They take their time all summer
And wait ’till Autumn’s back.The berries are the bells of Summer;
Wild strawberries in June
Then raspberries and blueberries.
Blackberries bring the Harvest Moon.Apples have reached full size;
Looking luscious on trees.
Gold and red and green
All sweetening before the freeze.

The acorn and the chestnut,
The pumpkin and the squash
Are readied for the table.
The season’s almost awash.

The baking warmth of kitchen
The smell of apple pie.
Excited chattering children
Can’t wait to give it a try

The smells of childhood remembered
Harken back to Fall
The kitchen congregation,
The festive banquet hall.

With a fresh cup of cider
Just pressed at the mill,
Let’s toast this tasty season
And pies on window sill.

Roosters have something to crow about!

Hidden Heptagon is Found at the Great Pyramid of Egypt

Hidden Heptagon Found Attached to Great Pyramid’s Blueprint.

Hidden Heptagon  Can Be Attached to Great Pyramid’s Blueprint. Or, is it vice versa?  First, what is a heptagon?  In geometry, a heptagon is a seven-sided polygon or 7-gon. The heptagon is also occasionally referred to as the septagon, using “sept-” (an elision of septua-, a Latin-derived numerical prefix, rather than hepta-, a Greek-derived numerical prefix) together with the Greek suffix “-agon” meaning angle.

The featured picture is from my 1st volume, p.393, of The Staff of God. I worked many summer seasons at Scott’s Oquaga Lake House as their piano player. There, a spiritual presence made itself known. I was educated in the ways of the ancients. The Oquaga Spirit Speaks, was one of the results. It relates through quatrains with rhyme the character of this spirit. Here is a sample from the opening poem entitled The Oquaga Spirit:

What a communicator was she
This sprite both blithe and free.
So much she needed an ear,
She ignored my tranquility.

NOW FOR THE HIDDEN HEPTAGON

Hidden heptagon was relayed at Soptt's Oquaga Lake House.
Scott’s Oquaga Lake House promises and delivers a new and beautiful dimension.

To the best of my knowledge, I think I was one of the first to rediscover the hidden heptagon. Even more significant: I think the triangle of the Pyramid’s dimensions originally came from this hiding heptagon. Not the other way around. Every book I’ve seen previously has defined the triangle as giving birth to the Great Pyramid. This involved many geometrical constructions. Here’s the simpler way to draw its dimensions from the heptagon: Set your compass at point “C”, Mark its length AC. Mark point “D” from point “C”. Draw a straight line along ICBD. Connect lines for triangle CDA. You have the essential proportional measures of the Great Pyramid.

More blogs will be written on this topic. Here’s one application. Hebrew language has 3 “mother” letters. It also has 7 double letters. That is, letters with 2 distinct sounds.

  •  A 2nd heptagon can be drawn on the other side of the triangle (not pictured). It’s basic side is defined by line AC. It then extends to the left. The 1st heptagon is on the right.
  • The one mother that gives birth to the 2 heptagons wedged in the lower center between the 2 heptagons. .
  • With the Hebrew language, the 3 mother letters give birth to the 7 double letters. The diagram geometrically defines this pattern.

Possibility exists that I might go to the Lake House once more this summer. There I would recite poetry. Also I would offer expeditions to commune with the spirit, and play the piano.

Greco-Hebraic Bond Through THis Design

Greco-Hebraic Bond by Number 3168

Greco-Hebraic Bond by Number 3168. This “3168” figure is virtually ubiquitous throughout the ancient world. John Michell discusses 3168 in City of Revelation. Chapter VII is entitled: 3168, the Perimeter of the Temple.  He also discusses how the number ties into measurement. Here is a brief excerpt.

  • 31,680 inches = ½ mile.
  • 31,680 feet = 6 miles
  • 31,680 furlongs (660 feet) = radius of the Earth (3,960 miles).
  • By an ancient science called gematria, the Greeks equated 3168 with “Lord Jesus Christ.” See City of Revelation p.82. This is found in the ancient Greek practice of equating numbers and letters called gematria. Hebrew does the same. So do many ancient languages.
  • Image result for picture of City of Revelation by John Michell

Greco-Hebraic Bond is Quite Unique

In my featured picture above we have the blueprint and numbers of “the ancient temple plan.” Here we find the Greco-Hebraic bond. This is a source of ancient building. The idea was to draw on the numbers of this blueprint. Whatever units of measure you used didn’t matter. The idea was to draw on the numbers. It could be numbers in shorter Egyptian cubits (1.718 feet) , Palestinian cubits (2.107 feet) , English yards (3 feet) or even megalithic yards (2.72 feet).  Please notice the outer hexagon  numbers 528 on each side. Multiply number 528 by the 6 sides of the hexagon and we have: 528 x 6 = 3168.

A spirit hovers around pure, spring fed Oquaga Lake

You are probably wondering how or where I discovered this ancient temple plan. I found it on beautiful Oquaga Lake. While I was hiking, the Oquaga Spirit offered me the vision in the featured blog picture. This spirit has became a part of my life. This is true even when I am away from Oquaga Lake. I’ve memorized every poem this spirit has dictated. I recite the poems to myself daily. The result was the poetry book entitled, The Oquaga Spirit Speaks. From the Greco-Hebraic bond to wisdom about number squares, the spirit freely offered knowledge to me. In turn I am sharing her knowledge with you.
